4.5 ☆sThis was my first time listening to the full-cast audio book and I loved how it made the story come alive. The cast were brilliant at it.
The official children's photo guide to The Return of the King.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was a fantastic introduction to the Wizarding World. My favorite part was the journey to protect the Sorcerer's Stone and the twists that came with it. Harry and Hagrid were my favorite characters, and I enjoyed watching the friendships and relationships develop throughout the story. The worldbuilding was excellent and made Hogwarts feel like a place I wanted to visit. The opening chapters before Hogwarts were the slowest part of the book, but they were necessary to set up the story. Overall, it was a fun, memorable read that left me excited to continue the series.
It was really funny and the story and plotline was super interesting. You can just tell that the next books in this series become better and better.
5 stars (and more)Fear of a name increases fear of the thing itself.Re-reading Harry Potter in the illustrated version makes it even more magical and amazing. The illustrations made my eyes teary. Everything in this book is perfect and I love it so much, from the characters, to the storyline to the writing.
It's the first ever book I've given a full 5 star with full conviction and it rather struck me good astonishment as to how I've been intimidated to read such a widely known title but here we are, attaboy Harry! Can't wait to read more.⚡⚡⚡
Title: An Enchanting Journey into the Wizarding WorldRating: ★★★★★ (5/5)As a 30-year-old who had only experienced the magic of Harry Potter through the movies, I finally decided to embark on the literary adventure of J.K. Rowling's beloved series. I must admit, I had reservations about reading what were initially children's books, but my concerns vanished as I delved into the pages of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."From the very start, I was captivated by Rowling's impeccable storytelling. Her writing style transcends age boundaries, and I found myself effortlessly flying through the book. What struck me most was the depth of detail and richness of the world she had crafted. The books are, indeed, so much more expansive than the movies could ever convey.Rowling's ability to provide intricate backgrounds for her characters was a revelation. I gained a newfound appreciation for the depth of their stories, which I had previously missed in the films. The humor and wit sprinkled throughout the narrative added an extra layer of charm. Most astonishingly, I found myself emotionally invested in a way I hadn't expected. I laughed, I gasped, and I even shed a tear or two. Rowling's writing evokes a range of emotions that makes the journey through the wizarding world an unforgettable experience. With the first book now behind me, I'm eagerly anticipating the adventure that awaits in the rest of the series. If you, like me, have only encountered Harry Potter through the films, I wholeheartedly encourage you to embark on this literary journey. It's a magical experience that transcends age and brings a whole new level of appreciation to this famous world.
¿Conocía la historia? Sí. ¿Me entretuvo igual? También. Leerlo con las ilustraciones y páginas interactivas fue algo mágico (xd). Me costó un riñón el libro, pero valió la pena.
Even after seeing all the films and reading the books countless times, the sheer joy and childlike giddiness I get from every chapter of this particular Harry Potter book is still marvelous. This is not just a favorite; it's an undeniable six-star read,FOOOOSHOOOO
