It’s tough being a witch. My sworn enemy, an outlaw vampire, just sent a killer pixie to my hometown.

I’ve been lucking out lately—great boyfriend, magical friends, and a peaceful career in a dusty, rural western town that I’m absolutely in love with. But good luck can’t last forever, can it? Now I have a flying assassin on my tail, a vampire bodyguard who shoots first and thinks later, and a lunch date with my boyfriend’s mother.

She’s never met me, and yet she can’t stand me. I want to win her over, but how am I supposed to do that while I’m trying to survive this craziness?

When a dead body turns up matters get complicated, and not in the cute dating-status kind of way. If I don't find out whodunnit, and quick, I might end up behind bars.

This is a paranormal cozy mystery with no graphic violence, bedroom activities, or swearing. Just quirky characters, puzzling clues, and a bat named Diva who likes to wear glitter and lipstick.
