When Oscar's father volunteers to speak about the joy of teaching at Career Day, Oscar knows he's sunk: the kids at school already think he's a beaker geek for having won the science fair. "Get your uncle Bobby to come, " his friend Rose advises. "He's a football star -- he'll make the other kids forget about your geekdom." Oscar sees the point.
