Holiday Rescue

Escaping heartbreak was supposed to be simple.
After catching her fiancé in the ultimate betrayal, Sloane Winters flees Denver with one goal—to avoid people and drink her weight in wine while hiding in a remote mountain cabin.

No men.
No emotions.
No reminders of how badly she misjudged her life.
But the universe has other plans.

A sudden blizzard wipes out her cell service, the road disappears beneath a blanket of snow, and Sloane’s stubborn determination to keep going nearly drives her straight into danger, until flashing emergency lights appear in the storm.

Enter Jax Reid.
Mountain Search and Rescue.
Protector.
An annoyingly handsome man with a bossy tone that should not be sexy … but absolutely is.

Forced to take shelter in a tiny ranger station while the storm rages, Sloane and Jax quickly discover there’s not a lot of room and even less distance between them. With Christmas movies playing, shared secrets exchanged, and one very tempting bed, the line between safety and attraction blurs fast.

She’s sworn off love.
He knows better than to fall for someone who’s just passing through.

But snowstorms have a way of changing plans, and one impulsive kiss might turn a disaster into a holiday miracle.
