I don't know why he couldn't be bothered to pronounce any of the Irish words properly, but it took me right out of the story. His voices for various characters were ridiculous, why did Oberon sound like Scooby Do? He did an Irish accent for the widow, but not for any of the Irish gods/goddesses? 2. The dialogue seemed stilted, particularly from Atticus. He's meant to be blending into American society, but no one on earth talks the way he does.3. I found it really repetitive, like Atticus is CONSTANTLY reminding us that he draws his power from the Earth. We get it, dude.
