As she delves deeper into the minds of the criminals she hunts, Alexandra finds herself walking a fine line between professional duty and personal entanglement. The labyrinth of her own mind reflects the twisted thoughts of the killers she studies, and as connections intensify, she wrestles with her own dark curiosities. Compelled to understand their psychologies, she must confront the shadows lurking within her own psyche.
Amidst the chaos of high-stakes investigations, Alexandra must also navigate her relationships, both personal and professional. Love and loyalty become entangled with her obsessive pursuit of justice, creating a challenging dynamic as danger looms closer. Each case tests her limits, forcing her to redefine what it means to protect the innocent while standing toe-to-toe with her own haunting demons.
In Hunt Me Darling, Maree Rose intricately weaves a narrative that juxtaposes the thrill of the chase with the moral ambiguities of obsession and empathy. Alexandra's journey is one of discovery—not only of the twisted minds she encounters but also of the strength and vulnerabilities that lie within herself. The story captures the essence of a woman in pursuit of purpose, grappling with the very darkness she seeks to eradicate.

Visualizza tuttoI felt like this book was extremely repetitive. She went to the office. Worked. Went home. She took alot of showers. Got drugged and had sex. Repeat. Until the end of the book.
2.2 It was trash. I hated the writing. It had a good concept but very poor execution.
