Ironic Embers
is a modern day whodunnit with a social twist.
Vicky Embers reaches her seventeenth birthday having been in foster care with her four younger brothers and sisters for the past decade. She craves for a life without the threat of their real father turning up on the doorstep, her mother having died giving birth to her fifth child in as many years. Vicky knows that her foster parents are fantastic and provide them with a loving home. However, Vicky seeks retribution. After years of research Vicky finally tracks her father down to Craig Dell, a sleepy west country village, a complete contrast to the claustrophobic urban environment she lives in.
Although she's discovered where her father lives, to the uneducated (that's you the reader) there are two individuals in the village who fit the bill.
Ironic Embers
follows the lives of both the gentlemen, who each have much to hide. The story follows Vicky’s stumbling attempts to confront her father.
Throughout we learn that Vicky is a young lady who deserves better.
