"Junior Science 1" provides the ideal foundation for Key Stage 2 science pupils and is suitable for use from Year 3. Ideal for the specialist or non-specialist teacher, as well as home schoolers or parents who want to help their children with further study at home, the "Junior Science" course provides clear explanations, challenging exercises and practical activities to engage young scientists with an active interest in science and its relationship to the world around us. "Junior Science 1" begins the course by asking 'What is science?' and introduces topics including our bodies, rocks and dinosaurs, and light and shadow. The book is supported by an answer book.
