Es un buen libro, tiene momentos de tensión, los personajes son memorables, está claro que no se compara con la película.Sin duda un punto es que te van dando indicios de como fue que el compi llegó a Costa Rica y no es casi al final te dicen como paso.Las muertes sin duda fueron un gran plus, y algunos personajes como es Nerdy se merecen, pero hay otros que no.Hammond obviamente se la merecía por ser alguien que no tenía ni idea de lo que estaba haciendo con la genética, Wu creo que su muerte no debió pasar fue muy rápida en comparación a otros personajes.Un problema fueron en las últimas páginas del libro en el que siento que Crichton quiso cerrar de forma muy apresurada la historia, ya que se situaba en menos de dos días, la muerte de Hammond fue muy rápida, también la muerte tan repentina de Ian.Es una buena novela con momentos de tensión, momentos en los que te dan las opciones de los diversos personajes, realmente me gusto bastante.
A solid and fast-paced read. The science and tension both hit hard, and it holds up well even with what we now know. Hammond was an absolute lunatic — I can’t imagine having that little concern for others, especially his own family. Some of the science is clearly dated now (the DNA recovery, frog gene stuff, and dinosaur behavior), but that doesn’t take away from how well the story works as a warning about human arrogance and control. Still a great ride.
EVERYONE who liked the movie should read the book, so much more stuff happens. More dino action and so much more brutal deaths. Actual dinosaur horror
