Lake Joi-les

This small area in Ohio has been known by many names through the ages. Moahenan. Donkervei. Lake Joi-Les. Dark Hollow. Dark Woods. It is an area surrounded by legends, ranging from ghosts, witches, aliens, the occult, and dark shadowy creatures that move through the woods. Few know the truth about Lake Joi-Les. This book will explore what is known about Dark Woods and many of the key characters that have been involved in its mysterious past. We will explore ancient Indian myths surrounding the area. We will read about the deadly 1772 blizzard that covered the valley. We will investigate the Bachs murders in the 1990s. And we will relive the infamous Jenkins Incident at the turn of this century. Finally, we will join four more people as they piece together the history of Dark Woods—and find some answers even lie in office of the President.
