From the author: "The idea behind the book is this: I'm not going to just sit here and list the most popular places, and then tell you how fantastic they all are — I don't get paid to advertise them. It's not the kind of guidebook where I just tell you where they are, how much they cost, and that's it. I have actually visited every single one of these galleries and museums myself, so I can give you an honest and entertaining account of what I experienced on the day. Maybe I liked them, and maybe I didn't. Maybe I thought it was time well spent, and maybe I thought it was a total waste of money — I will let you know. The aim of this book is to give you a feel for each place, and to let you know what to expect when you get there."
Please note: All of the information inside 'London's Galleries & Museums' is taken from the big omnibus book, 'London: A Visitor's Guide' (also by Craig Cross), which collects together all of my mini-guides into one giant volume
