I grew up loving the movie, 27 Dresses, but I never thought I’d be living it.
I’m the last of my friends and cousins. No, they didn’t all die, they got married. Even my confirmed bachelor brother finally got hitched to the girl of his dreams. As the ultimate tomboy, the quintessential girl next door , no man ever looked twice my way, especially not the man I’ve loved for years. As my brother’s best friend, gorgeous Grayson Reed was always off-limits and likely just saw me as a little sister anyway. But after his breakup with his supermodel girlfriend, I couldn't help but wonder if my shot to finally get him to notice me was here at last. I was done with being the pal he just shot hoops with.

I could be like the flirty girls he always seemed to date, and trade in my sneakers for high heels, couldn’t I? Grayson’s teammate, Kylan, assured me it could be done, and even offered to coach me to victory. There’s no one who knows Grayson better.
