This book continues from the first, in regards to the world building with Marney having sold her dad's bar, goes to stay with her friend Ashley, a single Mum to two kids.Ashley has no trust in men after the father of her kids was living a double life with her and his (not ex as Ashley thought.Graco who we met in book 1 had to deliver a package to Crius who went with Marney to Ashleys, takes one look at Ashley and is hooked.The unmistakable attraction between Ashley and Graco is so intense but their failures in their love life in the past continues to rear up.With the problems with the shifter's still causing trouble, the road of romance is a bumpy one.One thing I was disappointed at, was at one point, the history of the vampires is explained to Ashley... But it was just skipped over to the end of the conversation 😔.By the end of book 2 it reads into the 3rd book, with Lukas and Kayla's story. Which I was looking forward to reading... But I can't find any copies 😕
