Mick's Team

Welcome to Mick’s Team, the new champions of children's literature! These books are aimed at introducing children to the world of football through of a team of colourful animal characters. Their adventures help explain the different aspects of the game while gently reinforcing the values of sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play. The series also aims to encourage reluctant readers by engaging their interest in football. This first book in the series introduces the members of the team and their roles within it. From manager Mick, through captain Ronnie to Katie the goalkeeper frog, everyone has a part to play. This book explains how they all come together to win for each other!
