Mog's Christmas Calamity is a book that takes you on a very eventful Christmas Eve. From a dream to a nightmare in just a few pages, hope is brought to the tale as Christmas spirit saves the day and Christmas isn't ruined after all. Mog, a loveable cat, is the focus of this story, though the fault and the victor of an adventures book she is a cute fictional character. I liked the playful sometimes mischievous elements of a cat which have been incorporated into the plot and how the other characters come together to overcome their unforgettable Christmas experience. Teaching children to make the best out of a bad situation, generosity, and kindness all in one book. A great tale for the festive season, accompanied by illustrations that bring the chaos to life.
