Na bijna achttien maanden op het Basgiath Oorlogscollege weet Violet Sorrengail dat er geen tijd meer is voor lessen of onzekerheid. Nu de strijd echt is begonnen en de vijanden zowel van buitenaf als binnenuit aanvallen, weet Violet niet meer wie ze nog kan vertrouwen. Ze moet op zoek naar bondgenoten om Navarre te steunen. Es el mejor libro de todos, mi favorito, tiene todo lo que me gusta, estoy ansiosa de que salgan los demás
This book took over my every thought, to the point where I even went to bed dreaming about it! This author loves to play with my emotions, switching from one to the other without a moment to recover between. We could start a chapter on a high point but be flung to the depths of despair by the end of it. I read this as a buddy read and for most of the book I didn't stop to leave a comment as it just wasn't possible to stop reading. I loved the banter between the dragons, especially Andarna with her teenage sass. I loved the found family squad support, and the high stakes fighting, both in war and on land. What didn't I like? The loss and death of loved ones, which shocked me to the core. The hostility towards our favourite squad, that got me feeling angry and adding more characters to my most hated list. The biggest part I didn't like though, was knowing that I'd read that shocker of a final chapter and don't even have a release date for book 4! Come on Rebecca!!
