Descrizione

In the haunting sequel to "Flowers in the Attic," the story continues to follow the lives of the Dollanganger siblings as they navigate the treacherous path to freedom. With the scars of their past still fresh, they strive to forge new identities while grappling with the emotional and psychological turmoil left in the wake of their oppressive upbringing.

As the siblings embark on a journey filled with both hope and despair, they are confronted with the harsh realities of love, betrayal, and loss. Their quest for happiness leads them to new relationships that both challenge and complicate their already tumultuous lives. Each character must confront their own demons while seeking solace in a world that often feels alien and unforgiving.

Through lyrical prose, the tale captures the complexities of familial bonds, the quest for acceptance, and the enduring effects of trauma. Readers will delve into a rich, atmospheric narrative that intertwines moments of beauty with the dark shadows of the past, eliciting a powerful emotional response.

Read this series when I was a pre teen and still go back to them every now and then. Such a good series!
