Spoilers below:......Also TW:Death:....I put off reading this because... Let's face it. Noah f*ck*ng Riley 🥵But it was so good. Going into it I really had no idea what to expect, it had been so long since I read say you swear and I really didn't remember a lot sans the bad parts 😭But while reading through the beginning I was swooning Mason and crying for Payton 💔Not to mention a little upset while grooving through the book, at Chase... again 😆 I was so scared it was turning into a triangle. And I typically don't like "pregnancy/baby" tropes and don't get me started on the death 😭 I was equally heartbroken while simultaneously mending my heart throughout the book. My heart physically ached for Payton but even more so for Mason. Part of me knows that this couldn't of been a 5 star read, but let's face it I love a book that's going to rip my insides out... It was slow burning...and I mean slooooow burning... The spice was good.. but we don't get any until the last 30-50? pages of the book. But it was okay, the plot made up for it no matter how agonizing it felt. "I’m talking that gravity-defying, soul-defining, epic love story shit." ❤️🔥“My son, our son, deserves someone else to love him like you do, and if it can’t be me, it has to be him.”“I helped make him. He helped bring him into this world.”I never not one minute would dare question the love Mason had for Payton but the even deeper love he had for Deaton 🥹
Meagan has done it again.Heart strings were pulled. I loved Payton and Mason's story.
