This is one of the best book series I read in my life. Everything is perfect here, the emotions, the way you get attached to all characters, even those that were mentioned just a few times, the balance between the spice, romance, tragedy, happiness, pain…. I mean I was in so much pain reading the trilogy, I cried, from sadness and happiness both. I love the characters like if they would be my real family. My life won’t ever be the same after reading this and I will definitely reread the whole series at some point. I loved how the deeper the drama was going the less spice scenes were happening and it was so good and made so much sense. And the flashbacks, oh my god the flashbacks were killing me slowly..I literally was putting aside my kindle and letting myself breathe before continuing to read because I was so overwhelmed with emotions. I mean I love dark romance books and do enjoy them a lot for the 🌶️, but here even if there would be none this would be perfect still. The stuff through which Kade and Stacey went is horrible and I can’t wrap my mind around the fact that both of them were teens when everything started. So so cruel, I just want to cradle them both forever and make sure they are happy no matter what 😂 These series deserve a star from the sky, not even 6, 50 or 100 stars is enough to rate them properly.

First of all thank you Leigh Rivers and team for the ARC, forever grateful!!!! Restitution - Leigh RiversIn August my Edge of Darkness journey started as I was chosen as an ARC reader. I had such a book slump and Insatiable (the first book in this trilogy) pulled me right out. Then the end of next year I read Voracious and on the 20th of february I received the last book Restitution. This series was such a heavy dark romance but honestly one that I also couldn’t put down at all. It started out soft in the first book and it got darker in the second book, and Restitution was the darkest one of the trilogy. The connection that you feel with the characters are there from the first page till the last and the emotions, well this book let me feel emotions I didn’t feel for a long time while reading a book. From anger, to sadness to happiness. It was a bumpy ride but honestly a ride I don’t mind to have been on. The trilogy is written so well and the last book was a very good wrap up of the whole story. I haven’t been left with questions. What I do feel is that I want to get to know every character. The Edge of Darkness trilogy follows Kade and Stacey but you feel such a deep connection with the side characters as well, if an author can get you to feel these feelings for side characters you are just an amazing author and I really hope this is not the last we have seen from these characters. Restitution was a hard pill to swallow, please read your trigger warnings as this book is so much darker then the other two books, but nonetheless I do feel this book is really realistic if it comes to mental health, trauma and the healing process. I am happy that Leigh didn’t push the characters in awkward situation, instead it was all really raw. This rawness added so much to the storyline. I am saying goodbye to this trilogy with a smile and a tear. I am going to miss Stacey, Kade, Luciella, Aria, Tobias, Ewan, Barry, Kyle, Jason, Base, Dez and Tyler!!!!!!

This series DESTROYED me. Kade and Stacey deserve everything good. This was such a good ending to this series. I’m so glad I read psychotic obsession before starting this series. Seeing Tobias become who he did was the most amazing character development I’ve ever read about. I cannot wait to read more of Leigh’s books
