"Rewrite the Rules" by Kay CoveWhat if the love of your life finally came into your life... and he's your new boss? That's the challenge Adler is faced with as she navigates how to be just friends with Joel, who never, ever plans to get serious with a woman. This was a fantastic read! The characters were richly developed and by the end of the book I felt like I truly knew Adler and Joel to their core. And I definitely want Adler to be my new bestie - her work as a writer made this book even more fun to read. The pacing of the storyline was perfection and I literally had to force myself to put this book down so I could go to work and go to sleep. Cove's pop culture references made me laugh more than once. This novel is part of a series, but can also be read as a standalone. I've not read the first book in this series, but I will be now.My only complaint?
