Rich Mountain

Set in 1973, Rich Mountain is the story of Deb and Rob, a couple struggling to re-establish their life together since Rob's return from Vietnam. Rob's personality and behavior have changed in dramatic but unexplained ways. Deb is just beginning her career in Human Resource Management and banking, and Rob's behavior is pushing her away from him and into the arms of her boss. Charlie Wilson is the local sheriff, trying to keep hidden the impact of his injuries from the war. When Rob cracks and tries to rob the bank where Deb works, the story climaxes in surprising ways. There is suspense, pathos, drama and romance in Rich Mountain, the first of three books that will focus on the soldiers of the Vietnam War, and on the emerging career field of Human Resources.
