Runner

He's not staying.

A broken trust, a new town, and a new girl. Eli’s moving on.

For Eli, trust has always been of the utmost importance. First, his dad broke his trust, and now Kass. With his mom gone, Eli has nothing holding him to Bentley, Oregon when he receives an offer to work in a recording studio just outside of L.A. It’s a bonus when his high school crush turns up in the same small town. Maybe she’ll help him get past his ridiculous obsession with Kass.

When Kass finally frees herself from her captors in Croydon and returns to Bentley, it’s too late to regain Eli’s trust. He’s gone, and when she finds out who he’s with, she guards her heart with a new kind of zeal. She’s always suspected deep down that she wasn’t good enough for Eli, and he’d eventually move on to someone else. Now he has.

Separated by a full day’s drive and a slew of reasons why they shouldn’t be together, is there any hope for Kass and Eli?

Hit the road with Eli in Track Four of the Living Out Loud Series.
