Sadhus are Indian wandering renunciants wearing long dreadlocks and orange colored rags. They are so often photographed, yet their words are seldom heard. Very little is known about them. They have given up their name, family, house, job and caste, to become wandering renounciants, begging monks, mystical walkers, roaming philosophers, miracle-workers, hashish smokers, holymen…
People interested in Eastern philosophy and spirituality, those practicing meditation and yoga, those who have been traveling in India and some who have watched documentary films are eager to get better acquainted with them.
