Ah gods. This book made me remember why I love Rick Riordan. After reading the Dark Prophecy last week I was afraid I was starting to outgrow his writing, turns out it was just the book. But this book, Magnus Chase and the Ship of the Dead, my god was it good. Action-packed doesn't begin to describe it. I literally could not put this book down at all. And I enjoyed so much not only the plot but the characters too, some bits of wisdom they gave were beyond me. I have grown to all every member of the gang all for their different reasons, all of them mentioned in the book. I would go off on a rant about each and everyone but I feel like Magnus did that for me already, probably better than I ever could. I remember reading a line where Rick names words from 'f' and went "freak, frak... and some others like Rick please let the poor kid say 'fuck'! Like, he needs to xD"I think the hardest thing we can ever do is see someone for who they are.- I wasn't aware I would cry while reading this book but this quote got me really freaking close.I cannot believe that the trilogy is over. I really really REALLY want to see more adventures from these guys. I really need more Magnus Chase in my life.
