Noted author, Elvis Slaughter Sr., has received numerous accolades for his investigative research. He has committed himself to paper a non-fictional saga documenting his struggles to wrestle the truth in spite of indifferent attorneys, uncooperative hospital administrators, and a state wide healthcare probe resulting in the indictments of several industry executives.
In the aftermath, the closure that Slaughter searched for no longer continued to elude him although the involved parties refused to disclose the exact source of the HIV tainted blood that claimed his mother’s life. He discovers that a recall of blood tainted with HIV was delayed for two years and his mother, as well as thousands of others, had apparently been the victims of not only blood poisoning but a massive cover-up.
