The Bobby, Charlie Bobby's 8-valve Fronty Ford won the 1928 Pacific Coast Dirt Track Championship. The Babe, Elbert "Babe" Stapp, a veteran of 12 Indianapolis 500 Mile Races who loved to win in the "Bobby."
