The Bronze Sentinels

“So, you think you have a sixth sense, do you? Something deep inside hollering at you. In truth, we all have it. But I can tell that yours is desperate to be embraced…” Gallie’s nothing if not ambitious. One morning, he sets out to burgle the Queen. Instead, he finds that he is expected. Waiting for him is a five-hundred-year-old man called Tulliver, statues that come alive in the dead of night, historical figures secretly alive in a secret parallel universe – and the deranged ‘Dark Mayor of London’, consumed with a desire for revenge upon those who drove him mad. Despite all his front, Gallie’s a sensitive lad – an unusually sensitive lad. Until tonight, he had had no idea how many people there are like him. He’s about to find out that even amongst the Gifted, he’s something special... Written between takes on the sets of “Harry Potter”, “The Dark Knight”, “Sherlock” and “Doctor Who”.
