Mira absolutely stole this book for me.
She’s smart, independent, compassionate, and never compromises who she is. I loved seeing an Indian-Canadian heroine in a cowboy romance, and she quickly became one of my favorite Gold Rush Ranch characters.
I’ll admit I spent part of this book frustrated with Stefan , especially during the family-conflict storyline. But his redemption arc won me over in the end, and the emotional payoff was worth it.
The fire rescue, ambulance scene, and epilogue had me tearing up.
Audiobook listeners: Troy Duran and Vanessa Edwin were fantastic and brought so much emotion to the story.
I truly loved Mira before this, and now I love her, Stefan, and Loki. The horses have been my favorite parts of this series because they add something special.
This book was nice. There were some raw feelings with Stefan’s background trauma and this was offset by Mira’s positive energy. The row built an unlikely connection that was enjoyable to see. Th at stood up for each other and they also stood up to each other which led to an interesting dynamic. Standoffish, to friends to lovers to crest their very own HEA. Loki was the perfect animal side character for this book and Nadia was the perfect side character with her sassy attitude. Overall an enjoyable book that was medium paced and a little bit spicy. P.S Professor Stefan can come out anytime he wants 🥵
