Harry Lipkin is a straight-talking ex-cop turned Private Investigator, and at 87, he is quite possibly the oldest detective in Miami.
Jack Abner owns the local theatre company in town, but when $1.5 million goes missing from the company’s bank account along with Abner’s business partner – Irving Gruber – he knows that Harry is the only person who can save the theatre from its imminent closure.
Harry’s investigations soon reveal that this is far more than a simple case of theft and it’s not long before the first dead body surfaces and he finds himself at the centre of a murder enquiry.
As he delves further, it becomes clear that Harry is not the only one looking for Gruber.
With the body count rising, Harry must navigate his way through a world of ex-cons, powerful Russian billionaires and an infinite layer of lies and deceit, if he is to have any hope of solving his most challenging case to date.
Even when Harry’s deteriorating health is threatened with the extremities of such a dangerous case, the age-old Private Investigator is determined not to give up.
With the stakes and Harry’s blood pressure worryingly high, will this case finally prove too much for the experienced detective?
The Last Tomorrow is a fast-paced crime thriller in which a series of secrets unfold to reveal a chilling conspiracy.
