I just love Lana’s books. This is the 4th one I’ve picked up and it was a good addition to the Omegaverse she has from Fake Mates. Although there are some small mentions of Fake Mate in the story, you don’t have to read that one to read this book and I like that style of story telling.
Tess certainly is a do it all myself kind of gal and having her whole world turned upside down but still pulling on her big girl pants and getting things done is truly inspiring. Although she battled with the changes and not understanding them, this is where Hunter really shined. He was a very caring character like most grumpy tropes are and it was refreshing that he didn’t spend weeks just denying things.
I can’t wait for the next story that is in the same universe but a different couple.
The ending (especially chapter 29) really hit me in my feels. This book was so good.
