The Midnight Shift

Bob Price returns with "The Midnight Shift,” the third installment in his entertaining teaching series. Herein, Price's battles continue with the evil principal, Mr. Cinder. Also, the rural absurdities reach new height when a parent suggests the high school run a midnight shift, much like that of the local automotive plants. Racial tension rears its ugly head as well.

Amidst all of the distractions and impropriety, Price and his students must prepare for their next drama presentation, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Time is running out, Mr. Cinder's actions continue to derail the drama program and a student's mother takes wardrobe into her own hands. Nobody said teaching would be easy and Price's memoirs are evidence.
