Descrizione

After fleeing to the North Norfolk coast to put the pieces of his life back in some sort of order, investigator Bill Rush has achieved a degree of peace in his life. He has established a new business and is feeling secure once more. But all that changes on the night he is burgled.

Slowly, little by little, his life begins to fall apart. All of the troubles which drove him from London reappear and seem to be magnified. The police begin to investigate his business and his contacts. Suddenly Bill find himself alone.

As events continue to unfold and Bill has to find a way out of trouble he is drawn ever closer to the world he left and the reasons he fled. Slowly piecing the evidence together he begins to see a pattern which suggests a conspiracy so extraordinary that even he has trouble believing it

As Bill uncovers more and more evidence supporting his case he finds his enemies closing in on all sides. Further investigation is hampered when he is arrested for perverting the course of justice and the evidence against him continues to stack up.

When all his efforts come to nothing and his only ally appears to desert him he sinks into deep despair. He goes to trial prepared to accept his fate but unwilling to plead guilty to a crime he did not commit.

THE NORFOLK SANCTION is an up to the minute thriller posing serious questions about the amount of control ordinary people have over their lives and how new technology is changing the rules by which we live. Who can you trust in an age when your personal information, or even your history, is in the hands of anonymous corporations that work by their own rules?
