In a world where the privileged few are enveloped in grandeur and the rest live in the shadows, thirty-five young women are summoned to compete for a crown and a chance at love. The Selection presents an extraordinary opportunity that not only promises a fairy tale life but also potential heartbreak and fierce rivalries. Among them is America Singer, a girl from a humble background who finds herself torn between her feelings for her secret love and the desire for a better future.

As the competition unfolds within the royal palace, the stakes grow higher. Each challenge and event reveals not only the girls' ambitions but also their true selves, forcing America to confront her feelings and the stark divides between social classes. Amidst the glittering gowns and extravagant parties, friendships are tested, alliances are formed, and betrayal lurks in every corner.

The journey is not merely about winning a prince's heart; it delves into the struggles of identity, loyalty, and the cost of aspirations. In a world that demands conformity, America must navigate her own path, leading her to make choices that could change everything, for herself and for the kingdom.

I love how it tackles about the experiences of a woman in how we always encounter things that shouldn't have happened in the first place. I also love how it tackles politics and somehow that the government does not see everything that happens in the society. THEY SHOULD CARE AND FUND FOR THE PEOPLE. WE ALL DESERVE A GOOD GOVERNANCE. Love shouldn't be so rapid... Sometimes, it takes so much time to decide and think, rather to feel the moments you're sharing with another person. Seems like she's toying the two but I'm glad that she's finally realized what was happening among them. I realized that sometimes we just need to pause and reflect. How we shouldn't be swayed by others, but it should come from within us.
