But when the Doctor is called to examine him, he discovers some rather strange bite marks, as well as other physical abnormalities. Soon, the man has spread a highly contagious and maddening contagion to other members of the community. If Doctor Goode is to survive the ensuing epidemic and help others do the same, then he must find the source of the man's strange illness, and put it down for good.
