the story lost me a little but the writing was great
DNF at 53% I really tried to like this, and I did at first, but as the chapters continued, I found myself continuously frustrated with most of the characters, and while the plot is intriguing, I just can't finish it right now. I might try to resume this later, and I hope I get to finish it to figure out the ending, but ultimately it just wasn't for me. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
