Werewolf Sara Flores got her P.I. license for one reason — to give cops an excuse why they might find her near dead bodies. A lot of dead bodies. She hoped it would keep them from investigating her as carefully. But when someone tries to run over a friend of hers, Sara decides to become a real private eye and take the case. A smart, ruthless, very rich man is determined to kill her client and he doesn’t care what it costs him in hired assassins or explosives. He wants her dead. And now that Sara’s on his trail, he wants her dead too.

Is this newbie P.I. in over her head? Can she protect her client 24/7 (even werewolves have to sleep!), fight off hired assassins, dodge the police and convince a man used to getting what he wants that he has to stop?
