When the Wind Blows

The natives called them water the ghosts of stillborn children entombed forever in a secret cave. Those legends didn’t stop the greedy Ambers from building a town on top of the water babies’ lair, or plundering the minerals they found there in the earth. After mysterious events forced the mine to close, Amberton collapsed into a ghost town where the crazed remnants of the Amber clan still lord over bitter, desperate miners. When an entrepreneur dies trying to rescue Amberton by reopening the mine, his orphaned daughter Christie must go live with the last remaining the cruel spinster Edna and her unstable daughter Diana. Christie thinks she is adapting to their disturbing ways...and then the wind blows, the water babies begin to wail, and all hell breaks loose. As murder and madness draw Christie and her tormenters ever closer, only one thing is some mines are too dark to ever open, but some hearts are darker still.
