Three women decide to spend some quality girl time at a popular club in Raleigh to celebrate friendships that have sustained throughout the years. Laughing at childhood memories and having a great time, each woman meets a man who they hope will be the man who can “change their lives forever,” breaking their golden rule of “come together, leave together.” The women go their separate ways to uncharted waters and find themselves caught up in a whirlwind of betrayal, lies and crime. ​Each female is battling their own personal demons. Danni has a weight issue and can’t find a good man. Being white and a magnet for black guys, she has to make a decision, stay with her white incarcerated boyfriend, or explore new things. ​Aliyah Blue, the diva of the crew has trust issues with men, so she uses the same game they play on women to get money from drug dealers to support her lavish lifestyle. She leaves her faith behind, all over greed and power. But she quickly learns the glamorous life has a price. ​Nzinga is a college graduate who has been picked on since grade school because of her dark complexion. Although she’s very beautiful, she allows other people to cause her to have a severe lack of self-worth and low self-esteem. But Ra brings out the best in her, even the thug. ​​They’re all out for a good time but end up in a vicious cycle that leads to a plethora of first-time habits, which ultimately corrupt their lives. The men con them with sweet words while also abusing them. Unfortunately for these three women, they all find themselves being asked the ancient old question, “Why do you let him?”
