Loved how you actually learned things throughout the book, the humor was spot on!
Took me almost a year to finish, so I think it's safe to say that at times it didn't hold my attention. Funny at times, and it had an interesting topic.
Aside from the subject matter being super interesting, Mary Roach is hilarious. Every bit of this book had a little bit of snarky flair, no matter how morbid the rest of it could be. I flew through the audio version, narrated by Shelly Frasier, who is really fantastic. Her inflection adds so much to the overall narrative, I wanted to listen to her all the time. I listened to this book on the train from work. I listened while showering. I listened while cooking dinner. I was totally captivated and charmed by this book and will be devouring everything she authors.
