説明
Set against the backdrop of a richly crafted fantasy world, a series of intertwining tales narrate the complex relationships between dragons and humans, shedding light on a turbulent history that shapes their lives. The narrative dives deep into themes of loyalty, ambition, and the struggle for power, as characters of varied backgrounds confront both personal and existential challenges.
As tensions rise and ancient grudges resurface, the fate of kingdoms hangs in the balance. Readers are introduced to a diverse cast, each grappling with their own demons while navigating a world teetering on the brink of chaos. This standalone prequel not only enriches the lore established in the previous book but also invites readers to experience a spellbinding journey through treachery, sacrifice, and unbreakable bonds, all woven together in a tapestry of detailed storytelling that captivates and resonates.

Like Priory, Fallen Night is sometimes long and ponderous while other times page-turning and tense. I deeply appreciated the themes of motherhood and pregnancy especially Glorian's perspective as I deeply resonated with her experience. I also have to call out that Fallen Night does an excellent job being a queer normative society throughout.
