A Leprechaun's Tale is the second book in the Seamus and the Leprechaun trilogy. It is a dark comedy freely adapted from Hans Christian Anderson's Little Claus, Big Claus. After ten year old Seamus helps a leprechaun narrowly escape being killed by a group of angry brownies, he asks the leprechaun why the brownies hate him so much. The leprechaun is more than happy to weave a fantastic tale, full of angry ogres, deceit, and for a small price.
