Agent Zigzag

2.13a.m, 16th December 1942: a Nazi parachutist lands in Cambridgeshire. His mission: to sabotage the British war effort. His German masters call him Fritz. The British police know him as the crook Eddie Chapman. Within weeks, Chapman is in the hands of MI5 operating as Agent Zigzag. So opens the most sensational chapter in the history of British espionage. Unpredictable, dashing and louche, Chapman proved to be a handful for both his German and British spymasters. Weaving together diaries, letters and memories, along with fascinating top-secret MI5 files, Ben Macintyre creates an exhilarating account of the many lives of Eddie Chapman.
