Captains Courageous

During the storm at sea, Harvey Cheyne, a rich, spoiled teen-ager traveling to Europe, is swept overboard from the deck of an ocean liner near the Grand Banks off the coast of Newfoundland. Rescued by the fishing schooner, the We're Here, Harvey finds that neither his arrogant orders nor tales of his father's 30 million dollars can get him home.

Forced to go along on a four-month-long fishing trip and to work for his keep, Harvey is befriended by Dan Troop, the captain's son, and taught about the sea by the courageous Captain Disko Troop himself. In the process, Harvey learns many valuable lessons about life at sea and about growing up!
