Colors

This is a new preschool board book series with a unique, concertina pull-out at the end of each book, revealing an extra-special, zig-zag page surprise. The simple story lines in each book feature toy characters who are searching for missing objects. The stories lead to the hidden, fold-out frieze at the end of the book, where all the lost objects are revealed on one amazing, extra-long, concertina scene. The text is fun to read, with simple rhymes and repeated phrases that preschoolers will soon remember, so they can join in and say the words themselves. The fresh and appealing design, engaging photography, colorful illustrations, and a tactile, fabric tag is attached to the concertina, zig-zag pages so children can pull them out easily.

In "Colors," toys are dressed in color-themed outfits, but each toy is missing something. For instance, Dolly is missing something red -- her red sock, and Doggy is missing something green -- his green shorts. At the end of the book, children will find all the brightly colored missing clothes hanging on the clothesline!
