From her late B-movie star mother to the old art deco theater where she now ushers -- and all the auditions in between -- Hollywood is the only world Maddie Pryce has ever known. Acting is her passion, but when someone begins picking off her co-workers, Maddie finds herself cast in a new role as amateur detective. With the help of an LAPD Robbery-Homicide detective who’s too cute for his own good, she follows the leads, hoping to discover the murderer's motive.
