Doug Brown faced unimaginable loss when cattle rustlers set fire to his family’s Wyoming farm, claiming not only their livelihood but his father as well. At just seventeen, he is thrust into a harsh reality, grappling with grief and the urgency to find justice. The flames that consumed everything he held dear also ignited a fierce determination within him.
As he navigates the challenges of life without his father, Doug's journey intersects with Shelly Hampton, a girl who, like him, understands the weight of heartbreak and the longing for retribution. Together, they embark on a quest that intertwines their fates and challenges the very essence of resilience, loyalty, and love amidst the ruins of their past.
