説明
One chance meeting on a Texas ranch.
One wild, too-charming cowboy.
One snowed-in night that changes everything.
Wheeler Rankin isn’t here for romance—she’s come to Lucky River Ranch to visit her best friend, wrangle a business deal, and prove herself to everyone who ever doubted her. But when she collides with Duke Rivers—resident heartbreaker, restless cowboy, and brother to her best friend’s new flame—sparks fly hotter than a Texas summer.
Duke has always dreamed of more than dusty trails and small-town life. He’s itching to see the world, but one unforgettable night with Wheeler changes his course. When a blizzard and a business road trip leave them stranded together, their no-strings flirtation ignites into something deeper.
But passion brings complications—and unexpected news threatens to upend everything Wheeler’s built. As family pressures, old wounds, and new dreams collide, Duke is determined to stand by her side, ready to forge a future neither of them ever imagined.
Can two fiercely independent souls trust in love, face their fears, and find home in each other’s arms? Or will the ghosts of the past keep them apart for good?

You either write it SO well or it completely falls flat… and she wrote the sh*t out of it 👏🏼👏🏼I loved that they actually talked through their options instead of immediately going “welp, guess we’re having a baby.” It felt real and refreshing. And you already know I’m a sucker for banter, and this one had the perfect amount 🫶🏼I also really loved that they pushed each other to keep chasing their dreams, baby or not. Supportive, mature, emotional—give me alllll of it.Highly recommend.Tropes 🤠 Cowboy Romance 👢 Accidental Pregnancy 🤠 He Falls First👢 Banter🤠 Snowed In
Arc review! Another amazing book by @jessicapauthor This is the book of Duke and wheeler. Wheeler has come to lucky river ranch for a visit and sparks fly between her and duke. Throw in a trip together and some sexy sexy time and things get a little complicated when the stick turns blue and we have an accidental pregnancy. After all the fun they have to make soms real decisions. Loved this whole story and I could not stop until id read the whole thing. Thank you Jessica and @valentine_pr_ for my arc copy.
4.5⭐'sThis one grabbed me from page one. Small-town romances just hit different, and Duke and Wheeler had that obvious, “everyone can see it but them” energy that I ate up instantly. Their pull feels natural; strong chemistry, yes, but the softness they bring out in each other is what really made it land for me. When they stop getting in their own heads and actually let themselves feel things? Beautiful. The vibe is classic Lucky River Ranch: ranch work, brothers who ride or die, found-family warmth, and an unexpected pregnancy that cracks both of them open in ways they weren’t planning for. Duke is rugged, steady, and quietly intense, the kind of man who shows up without needing a spotlight. Wheeler is funny, guarded, ambitious, and carrying more hurt than she lets anyone see. Watching her slowly trust that love doesn’t have to hurt was one of my favorite parts. The Rivers family adds so much life to the story, especially Duke’s bond with his twin, and Wheeler’s journey toward actually believing she deserves more is what gives the book its emotional weight. And yes, accidental pregnancy is not usually my thing, but Jessica Peterson made it work in a way that felt real, warm, and honestly kind of irresistible.Tender, cozy, emotional, and full of heart ❤️ it’s a perfect addition to the series.✨Thank you Jessica Peterson and Valentine PR for the ARC, as always 🫶🏼
