I nearly tossed this book aside halfway through when sweet Lia turned into a head-scratching enigma. Her bonkers decision to bench Devan from dad duties while handing the reins to neighbor Tobias had me reeling. Despite Devan's quirks, I was on Team Devan all the way, and seeing him snag a happy ending was pure joy. The tale morphed into a feel-good redemption saga, with Devan's character blossoming like a late-blooming flower. The author deftly untangled the love triangle, spinning an emotional rollercoaster that kept me glued. By the finale, I was fist-pumping for everyone's happily-ever-after.
