Forever Fighting by J. Saman ARC ReviewBook #2 in the Forever Boston Series ★ 5 Stars I devoured this book. And when I say I devoured, I mean I literally woke up in the middle of the night to keep reading because I couldn't stop thinking about it. This book delivered everything I love in a friends-to-lovers romance: years of history, emotional tension, incredible chemistry, genuine communication, and an MMC who has been in love with the FMC for YEARS. One of my favourite things was that the characters actually communicated. There were multiple opportunities for misunderstandings or unnecessary drama, and instead, they talked through things like adults. It was refreshing and made me love them even more. Romance/RelationshipThis romance was everything! Roman and Braelyn already know each other inside and out. They know each other's habits, fears, grief and strength. So when their relationship shifts into something more, it doesn't feel rushed. It feels inevitable. The chemistry between them was so good. Roman was Braelyn's safe place. Braelyn is Roman's safe place. No matter what happens, they always find their way back to each other. There were so many moments where Roman's devotion made my chest hurt. The way he immediately drops everything when she needs him, the way he notices the smallest details, the way he never pressures her, and the way he consistently chooses her happiness, even when it hurts him. This man is DOWN BAD. And I loved every second of it. Favourite Quotes "Wait." Braelyn stops us. "You're working." I kiss her forehead and meet her eyes. "You're more important." "You know that, right? That there will never be anyone else but you. You're always the one I love, the one I fight, but most importantly, the one I'm forever fighting for." Final Verdict Forever Fighting completely stole my heart. This book is romantic, emotional, funny, and incredibly satisfying. If you love best friends-to-lovers romance, years of pining, genuine communication, emotional maturity, protective MMCs, found family, and a man who has been hopelessly in love with the same woman for years, you absolutely need to read this.
