説明

In the heart of the Mongolian steppes, a boy named Temujin emerges from the legacy of a fallen khan. As he navigates a tumultuous childhood filled with betrayal and hardship, Temujin's resilience is tested by the harsh realities of tribal politics and the unforgiving landscape. Yet, he possesses an indomitable spirit, a vision of unity that sets him apart from his peers. The wild expanse of the land serves as both a backdrop and a catalyst for the extraordinary journey that will shape his destiny.

As Temujin grows, he embraces the mantle of leadership, seeking to forge alliances and consolidate power among warring clans. Through cunning strategies and fierce battles, he transforms from an outcast into a legendary warrior, laying the foundation for an empire that will reshape the world. Amidst the struggles, loyalty and betrayal intertwine, forcing him to confront his deepest challenges and solidify his legacy as Genghis Khan.

A far better telling of the Genghis Khan story than the appalling 1965 film. You really feel for GK and family. I am coming to the end of Cornwell's Saxon Chronicles and looking for a new series. I reckon Mongolia/China is as far as it gets. My opinion: Iggulden is a worthy pretender to King Bernard.[bc:The Secret History of the Mongols|59785459|The Secret History of the Mongols|Christopher Atwood|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1667850189l/59785459._SY75_.jpg|94167770]A much better start.
